The Partnership
Built by professionals with deep expertise across capital, real estate, retail and space alignment, and structuring.
Labels and Lanes operates as an institutional advisory across three verticals, with a cross-cutting structuring capability and a convergence flagship. The team is carried by professionals whose working experience spans capital allocation, real-estate evaluation, retail and space alignment, and corporate and fiduciary structuring. What is named here is the skill set the work requires. The individuals who carry it operate collectively, in the work itself.
Expertise Carried Into Every Engagement
The skill set behind the work.
Capital Allocation & Framework Design
Multi-sleeve allocation, vintage sequencing, AIF and fund-selection experience across Category I, II, and III vehicles. Liquidity-window mapping for family offices, HNI pools, and institutional allocators.
Real Estate & RERA Expertise
Title review, encumbrance analysis, project evaluation through RERA filings, and branded-residence assessment. Retail, hospitality, and commercial-asset evaluation across Indian micromarkets.
Corporate Structuring & Governance
Entity architecture across company, LLP, and trust structures. GIFT City FIF structuring. Governance design, Investment Policy Statement authorship, and Family Charter drafting for multi-generational capital.
FEMA, POEM & Cross-Border
FEMA residency mapping, NRI acquisition structuring, offshore-wrapper design, POEM analysis, and overseas-investment compliance under the FEMA OI Rules 2022. The interface where families are most often caught.
Retail, Hospitality & Brand Alignment
Visual merchandising, retail-experience design, and on-ground brand positioning. Hospitality venue evaluation, operator-covenant design, and guest-facing service discipline.
Integrated Convergence Work
The discipline of holding brand, space, and capital together in one engagement — where a single-domain specialist would see three disconnected problems. The method behind the five signature bundles on the integrated advisory page.
Scope
On what the team does, and what it does not.
- Not a fund, broker, or distributor. The team does not manage pooled capital, distribute financial products, or act as a product intermediary. Compensation is the engagement fee paid by the client engaging the team, never a commission or referral economic from a third party.
- Not an opinion shop. Nothing on this site constitutes investment, tax, or transactional advice. Views expressed in Perspectives and The Letter are structural thinking, not recommendations. Where regulatory framework is relevant to a commercial question (RERA, FEMA, DPDP, GST), it is cited for accuracy, not as legal opinion.
- A scoped advisory. Every engagement is scoped, letter-based, conflict-checked, and documented before any work begins. The team operates in the work, not around it. Output is written where output is written; conversation where conversation is warranted.
The Firm’s Voice
All work issued under the Partnership’s collective voice.
Perspectives, The Letter, and every advisory output are issued under the voice of the Partnership rather than attributed to individuals. The reason is discipline, not anonymity: the quality of the work is the Partnership’s responsibility, and the Partnership’s alone.
Principals engaging with the firm do so through the Advisory process. Identities of the individuals carrying the work are shared within the engagement letter, under confidentiality, where and when it is appropriate.
